Choosing to see a counsellor can be a big step in a person’s life journey and you may be experiencing feelings, emotions and life events that are difficult to cope with. You may have a desire to talk, but unsure of who to turn to. You may want something or someone to be different in your life. You may be searching for more purpose and meaning in your life. Or you may not know why and instead are experiencing low mood, depression or anxiety. Whatever the reason, counselling can help. 

Love, loss, joy and relationship are all experiences of being human both now and through the history of humanity. We are so unique and different from one another but we all share these human experiences. I believe our differences come from past experiences and relationships, the culture we grew up in and currently living in, the choices we make and our individual search for meaning. Perhaps you’re lacking meaning at the moment but something is driving you to search.

Counselling offers a safe space for you to talk about whatever you need to talk about. You can share things that seem too difficult to share with family or friends.
